Hi! I’m Bobbie Chambers.

You are in the right place if you want:
- More energy & better health

- A stronger immune system & to feel comfortable in your own body
- To get off the diet roller coaster & stop “yo-yo” dieting as you learn what works for your unique body
- To feel alive and ready to take on the world
As a Certified Holistic Health & Life Empowerment Coach, I specialize in helping women in their 40’s, 50’s, 60’s & beyond who struggle with their weight, health and lifestyle choices by using a holistic approach to a healthier, happier and more meaningful lifestyle. The holistic approach means that everything in one’s life is an essential form of nourishment. I know that “the way we do one thing is the way we do everything”. I believe in bio-individuality. This means there’s no one-size-fits-all; there is no “right food” for everyone. Each person is a unique individual with individualized requirements that influence overall health and the foods that make you feel your best.
I coach to help my clients identify how all areas of life are connected so they can experience permanent and sustainable weight loss and enjoy a richly fulfilled healthy and rewarding life. My style is designed to help my clients identify where they may be stuck – what’s stopping them from having what they want for their health and life. There is no judgment, only support, tools & loving accountability leading my clients to real, positive and lasting “one step at a time” changes to achieving the body& health of their dreams and living their lives most authentically and powerfully.
Imagine looking in the mirror as you put on those beautiful clothes that you’ve longed to wear that make you feel confident, sexy and comfortable. That’s right! Smile at the beautiful woman looking back at you and check her out from head to toe. Now check out the side and back views. YES, that’s beautiful “YOU”! Imagine knowing exactly what works for you and your unique body, taking out all of the guesswork and never being on the “yo-yo” diet train again.
Imagine feeling “unstoppable” because you are! Imagine having energy throughout the day and feeling healthier than ever! It may feel like a fantasy, but it is possible and I am here to show you how!
A little more personal…
I am blessed to be a wife, Mom of 3 grownup children and 4 beautiful grandchildren. I am also blessed to have sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends & extended family. I love my family & good friends passionately and I love “LIFE”! I believe life is a precious gift from God and I am determined to honor this gift in every way I know how. I consciously strive to “make my life my message”. I am grateful for everything and everyone in my life and try my best “NOT” to take anything or anyone for granted. I love creating and having memorable experiences and am aware of the “moment by moment” miracles of life. I am never ashamed to let my “inner child” show. I am playful, love to laugh, have fun and do the things that bring me joy and make my heart sing.
A short list of some of the things that make my heart sing & bring me joy; sharing valuable time with my family & good friends no matter the activity, gifting & delighting others, power walking/exercising, witnessing & savoring the beauty of all creation & nature around me, dancing, singing, listening to music, watching good movies, the sound of children’s voices and being witness to their innocent wonder, waking to the sounds of birds chirping, the sound of rain, date night with my husband, eating good food, entertaining, decorating, coaching, meditating, self – growth/learning, meeting and connecting with good people, attending services at my church, making a positive difference in the lives of others and I love & appreciate my alone time to just “be”.
I know that everything I’ve done and experienced in my life, the good and the not so good, was meant to be and has added to my growth as well as been preparation and learning for whatever was to be the “next thing” for me. My many years in corporate America, the majority of those years in varying management roles, was no exception. After leaving my corporate career, I was led to and became passionate about health coaching. I’ve always had a passion for making a positive difference in the lives of others. Marrying these passions lit a fire in me. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been interested in and valued a healthy lifestyle, however knew there was much more for me to learn, not only for my own health and my family’s healthy lifestyle, I also knew I wanted to be able to share all that I would learn with as many people as possible.
Let me show you what’s possible for “you”.
Start with one phone call!
While growing up, my Mom cooked dinner every day. I believe she was one of the best cooks ever!!! Thank you, Mom! Eating dessert after dinner was our norm. I’m talking homemade “better than delicious” desserts most of the time. Homemade or not, we ate something “sweet & sugary” after every meal even if that meant going to the corner store to buy candy, cookies or ice cream. I proudly carried this tradition into adulthood with my children & beyond.
It wasn’t until a few years ago that I heard the term “sugar addiction”. “Hi, my name is Bobbie and I WAS a sugar addict”. Eating sugar laden desserts was my “norm” and I didn’t indulge a “little”, I indulged a LOT in HUGE quantities at a time – every day of the week! I was outrageous with this habit!!! It wasn’t until I began my studies to become a health coach that I learned about the dangers of sugar to the body and its addictive affect. Now, you would think that I would have gained lots and lots of weight during my decades of sugar addiction. Surprisingly I did not – not as a child nor as an adult. I am proof that we all have unique bodies that respond in different ways from others who may have the same habits. In my 30’s, I began to experience occasional sluggishness and horrible belly bloat. Intuitively I would not eat dessert for about a week, though still craving it, and my stomach would go back to normal size and I had more energy. Then…I would begin the cycle all over again.
While completing my studies to become a Certified Holistic Health Coach, I learned what worked for my unique body. To my surprise, without even trying or having to think about it, my sugar cravings disappeared! I then knew that if I could beat my sugar addiction, others could also change their health for the better. Do I eat sweet stuff now? YUP, I do. However, I don’t crave it. On the rare occasions that I do want to eat dessert, I happily eat it, however never in the quantities I did during my sugar addiction. I don’t deny or deprive myself. I now eat what my body wants most. The foods I want most happen to be the ones my body needs be its healthiest. I did my work as I learned more and more about “me” and my unique body & health. It was an amazing transformation for me.
Though my story may be different from your story, I know that we are all uniquely made and bio individuality is the real deal. What’s good for one is not what’s good for all. I can’t wait to show you a better way!!!
Are you curious how I can help you?
My Official Bio
I spent many years in corporate management with a couple of Fortune 500 companies. I enjoyed my career. The ups & downs were all valuable as they served as “information” for my journey forward.
The timing was perfect for me when I left my corporate career. As I reflected back on all of those years, one of my greatest joys came from connecting with the people with whom I worked, met and those who reported directly to me.
Through a force much higher and bigger than me, some call it Universe – I call it God, my roles enabled me to make wonderful positive differences in the lives of many. As well, I am eternally grateful to all who supported, encouraged and made a huge positive and indelible difference in my life.
Shortly after leaving my corporate career, I was led to health coaching, yet, another way to make a positive difference in the lives of others. I know that taking care of ourselves is the greatest gift we can give to ourselves as well as to those who mean the most to us in the world. It is simply invaluable!
I think you can tell how passionate I am about living my best life in all areas and helping others to do the same. I know that we are all uniquely made and what works for one does not work for another.
The good news; we “can” discover what works best for our unique body. We “can” let go of the “yo-yo” dieting and move to “one step at a time” habit changes that lead to having the health, body and life of our desires. We “can” make the habit changes sustainable so we won’t even have to think about it, it simply becomes our “way to be”.
I love to eat! I love good food!!! I never count calories because I’ve learned what works for me and my unique body and lifestyle. I won’t require you to count calories either! One step at a time changes without overwhelm and strict rules is always the order of the day when you work with me.
My training and credentials:
I successfully completed studies at the largest nutrition school in the world, the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN) and became a Certified Holistic Health Coach. At IIN I studied over 100 dietary theories, practical lifestyle techniques and innovative coaching methods with some of the world’s top health and wellness experts. My teachers included Dr. Andrew Weil, Deepak Chopra, Dr. David Katz, Dr. Walter Millet, Geneen Roth and many other leading researchers and nutrition authorities.
Shortly after graduating from IIN, I enrolled in and successfully completed many progressive levels of “coaching instruction” with Holistic MBA which later became the Health Coach Institute, a world class international coach training company. I received “Health Coach” certification and Mastery level certification in Transformational Coaching Methods from the Health Coach Institute.
During the latter years of my corporate career, I became interested in and curious about the “raw food lifestyle” thanks to a beautiful lady (thanks Natalie!) who worked with me. That interest led me to attend and become certified as a raw food teacher, instructor & chef with Alisa Cohen, well known author, teacher & healer.
My education & self-growth continues. I love keeping up with health & wellness interests including what’s going on in “life” and how I can elevate in all areas of my life, personally and professionally. By doing so, I not only stay on my journey of living my best life, I am able to give more and show up in a bigger way for my loved ones and my clients.
